Marshmallow Fluff

The big adventures of the day included shingles and spray-foam insulation. And, as indicated by the title of this post, he insulation looks somewhat like marshmallow fluff! And was a multi-step process that I will have my momma explain in a "guest post" tomorrow or this weekend sometime.

All the insulation installation stuff came in this giant truck!

The color to the left is the new color of out house, the middle, lightest color is the primer, and the color to the right is the old color, but partially scraped off. The vertical strip running down the middle of the picture is a vinyl strip thing that separates the addition from the old house, I'm guessing as a waterproofing method...?

One mountain of painted shingles

Yay for shingling!

The second mountain of painted shingles...

The marshmallow fluff room.

Surprise! I guess the shower was not stuck in place after all.....since it is now at a wonky angle in it's spot and covered in plastic to keep insulation out of it.
