A blog to keep family and friends up to date with the new addition that we are building on our house this summer! Hope you enjoy. We're extending out the back of the house 12 feet and in that space adding to/remodeling our existing kitchen, adding a new dining room and a second bathroom. Also tearing down the garage and building another one further back in the lot to comply with city building codes.

Framing Part 1
Today they framed the floor! And the garage slab has turned into the "workshop"...
Using an old shingle to jimmy the gutter out of the way!
