Makeshift Kitchen

Thursday afternoon after I had left town, mom texted me saying that Jim, our contractor, wanted to strip the kitchen on Monday. Oh boy. So, Sunday night and Monday morning, our task was to create a makeshift kitchen in our dining room. Our sink complex was cut out of the wall and re-routed into the dining room, plumbing and all, and the fridge was also moved. As for the rest? Either boxed up, thrown out, or put onto shelves that have expanded into our living room. It's going to be a tight squeeze for a while.

The discovery of the day: If you look real close, the orangy-brown thing and the grey fuzz on the end of the mouse trap appear to be a mouse skull and remaining fur that was found under our sink complex and has been there for who knows how long....long enough to completely decay evidently. How gross is that?!
